These are some extremely challenging times and it’s time for us to band together. I have read some great articles recently about companies pitching in to help their teams get through the Coronavirus closures. Many companies are continuing to pay for health insurance and salaries. Some hospitality groups are asking CEO’s, Presidents and other upper level leaders to give a portion of their salary to employees that aren’t receiving a pay check till locations reopen.
Your employees are the key to your success and retraining is costly. Your customers will be so excited to get out after the quarantine that it’s important you have great employees in place to give them a WOW experience. It’s great to see business owners protecting their team’s safety where there are virus threats by wearing masks, gloves and sanitizing locations as well as enforcing the #socialdistancing policy in open locations.
The important thing to remember is that we are all in this together.
In weeks / months life will go back to normal and we will want customers to return. Start planning ahead on ways to attract returning and new business.
